Dead As A Doornail Released Today

Vampire fiction has taken off like a bat out of you-know-where. Author, Charlain Harris is keeping the pace with Dead As A Doornail, the fifth installment of her Southern Vampire series featuring the telepathic waitress, Sookie Stackhouse.

Less intense than Laurell K. Hamilton's, Anita Blake vampire hunter series, Harris' novels are vampire-light. Where Anita is sarcastic, Sookie is comical (Laurel K. Hamilton meets Janet Evanovich - in a dark alley).
